I am a firm believer in prayer. I think it can be the catalyst in miracles and can create peace. I think it is a great vehicle in pursuit of a closer relationship with God. As a mother, prayer gives me the best coparent. As a spouse, prayer gives me a reminder of how I am called to love.

My most used emoji is the praying hands. I use it often in the prayer groups I am part of on Facebook. That emoji really is a symbol of the prayer I just prayed. I am part of so many prayer groups, that it also is a quick way for me to let someone know I saw your plea and I prayed on your behalf.
I receive emailed prayers from Unveiled Wife. I pray those also. I follow an Instagram page that has sample prayers that you can pray. I pray those also.

I pray over everything. The day, my family, my worries, my praises and even appliances all receive prayer. I know that might seem silly, but I take it all to God. I do not believe in prayer overkill nor do I believe in prayer excellence.

By remaining in constant contact with God, I am forced to remember who is in control. I’m building on my relationship with Him. I do not think I will ever arrive in my prayer life and that is okay with me. I don’t mind the practice.

Mama, what is the one thing you would like intercession in? What is the miracle you need or the trouble you carry? When was the last time you just prayed, so you could talk to God a little? What are you waiting on?

Say it now. ❤

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

I have been trying to pray “without ceasing” for a while now. I’m really good at it when things go wrong or an appliance breaks 😅 I am getting better at it, thanks for the encouragement!
